Pavel (pronounced PAH-vyel in Russian, I think....) is a Chimera. That is, a beast constructed in a lab by means of advanced bioengineering. He was rescued as a baby from the biolab in Siberia by a few very cunning children (the girl Liliya, her Sylala (alien) friends, Meori and Meoki). He was named after Russian composer Pavel Chesnokov, who wrote the choral piece "Ne Imami Iniya", which is one of the prettiest songs EVER. When he grows up, he will eventually initiate the destruction of the inhumane facility that he came from with the help of his adoptive friends and others that were rescued.
I know that wasn't much of a backstory but I dont really have much yet. But obviously it's set way in the future and so far the story is pretty freakishly out there.
Pavel's construction consists of mostly manipulated genes derived from several Navonlian dragons (seen in his body and head shape), Navonlian pterosaurs (wings), and a bit of Terran porcupine, ahaha. He seems to have a bit of feline in him too, but no one can say which planet the feline stock was from.
